Treasure Rush

Introduction

 

Judging by their latest project called Treasure Rush, developers of GenerGame Co.Ltd used to be big Indiana Jones fans which led them to create an Android clone of the character. Their John is also a professor at a university, wears a leather jacket and a fedora and carries a bullwhip. Most importantly, however, John, like Indy, adores ancient civilizations and hunting their lost treasures.

 

Story Line

 

Once, being on vacation, John went grocery shopping and stumbled upon an unusual antiquarian, a closer look at which revealed an ancient manuscript looking similar to a treasure map. Naturally, our character was intrigued by his finding, to say the least. He decided to take a time off work and set on a journey to find the hidden treasure, a journey full of excitement and danger. 

GamePlay

 

You may think the game is a classical platformer, but it is actually closer to an arcade riddle, somewhat similar to The Lemmings, popular at a certain time, where you had to look after the roaming little animal creatures to make sure they keep out of trouble, tell them what to do if they still manage to get into hot water. The new product offers more or less the same format. You need to lead your character's way to the gates of each location (so far there are 60) using at least 12 skills (running, jumping with an umbrella, climbing walls, whipping etc.) to achieve the goal. 

 

Bottom Line

 

Let's say, if you love the good old riddle game and do not mind adventure, go ahead and play Treasure Rush.
