In 2007 Jonas Nordlander a businessman from Stockholm came to visit Russia. He realized the potential the biggest country in the world contained and created Avito.ru, a Russian online classified site along the lines of Craigslist. Today, the multi-billion company presents AVITO, an application for portable devices offering the same services the computer-based version does.
