Atlantic Fleet

Introduction

Not long ago, we published a similar project from Killerfish Games called Pacific Fleet where gamers had to go through 44 locations in a step-by-step mode to bring the fleets of the USA and Japan to the much desired victory over the Pacific. There was a choice of 14 military ships, starting from destroyers and cruisers ending with battleships and aircraft carriers. So, recently, the developers presented their new project, Atlantic Fleet, which seems to have surpassed its predecessor by a hundred points both technically and design-wise.

GamePlay

The first thing to say is that the game is incredibly demanding toward smartphones and tablets in terms of settings, so if you only have about 512Mb RAM, it will freeze. It is the console-level graphics that brings about the "ice age", having up to 20 detailed ships per battle. They also take damage where you actually hit, so the precision is phenomenal. In addition, the scale of the battle has been expanded from just air to air and underwater, meaning the players will be able to control aircraft carriers as well as submarines. There are more than 630 ships, 350 submarines, and approximately 13 types of planes available for military action. 

Bottom Line

Aside from the 30 missions in store for you to complete, Atlantic Fleet has historic battles (50 levels per faction) and a dynamic campaign (1939-1945) where you manage each and every vessel personally, and not just in separate battlefields but with the world map, too.
