Farms & Castles

Introduction 

So we were browsing through games on Play Market and saw Farms & Castles, somewhat related to the genre of a casual riddle. Neither the reviews, nor the screenshots impressed us much, so we were about to flip through the project when we noticed it was made by SQUARE ENIX Ltd, a company never accused of creating a bad game (see their Hitman Sniper, Lara Croft: Relic Run, Hitman GO, and Deus Ex: The Fall). We downloaded the game not knowing whether it was worth the risk. 

GamePlay

The purpose of the game is to build an empire but not the classical way like you do it in a construction simulator, but logically. After the game is launched, you will see a checked field (6x6) that you will need to fill with objects appearing in the lower part of the screen. Three in a row will unite in a bigger particle. For instance, three bushes will turn into a tree, three trees - into a forest, three forests (if you are lucky) - into a small farm. The farm would bring a certain amount of provisions annually which will enable you to buy any chosen object on the field.

Bottom Line 

Frankly speaking, we have come across the type of game more than once, but, unlike Farms & Castles, they were of low quality and not worth your attention.
