Introduction 

We have come across an Internet browser called Adblock Browser and were intrigued by its short description because the developers from Eyeo GmbH claimed their creation to be famous all over the world for 9 years already. Further research disproved the claim. The developing company's site was registered only 2 years ago while the app has only been downloaded by roughly 12,000,000 users instead of the 400,000,000 indicated by the cheeky creators. Despite the obvious fraud with numbers, we decided to test the application and were surprised by the range of its features. 

Main Features 

Advertising Block: it is a known fact that the abundance of commercials on a site eats a lot of traffic and annoys the viewer. The browser has a fair shield against the flashy banners on a web page. 

Safety and Confidentiality: an in-built utility of the browser allows you to keep your personal data, such as logins and passwords or the history of the resources you go through, to yourself. 

Bottom Line 

Interestingly, Adblock Browser has made a good impression on us, especially demonstrating its ability to block advertising. However, it is strange to see the developers give false information on the popularity of their work, for it can only scare off the users who would check that information.
